Seat bases and pedestals
Boat makers rarely publish which seat base they use, so this page is about telling yours apart. Pull a seat and look at the post.
Which post do you have?
2-3/8 in post is the common large post. Springfield Taper-Lock and Plug-In both use it, but they lock differently: Taper-Lock has a tapered post and a lever, Plug-In slides into a socket.
2-7/8 in post is Springfield's heavier series.
3/4 in pin is the small pin found on many aluminum boats: Attwood Swivl-Eze Lock'N-Pin and Springfield KingPin.
1-3/4 in post is Attwood Snap-Lock.
